| Hwa Rang Do® |
There is some confusion regarding Hwa Rang Do. Although the term is sometimes used to describe the art of the ancient Hwarang warriors, the modern art Hwa Rang Do® (translated as "the way of the flowering manhood") was founded by Dr. Joo-Bang Lee who received the 58th generation Hwarang warrior title from Suahm Dosa. Dr. Joo-Bang Lee is the only individual possessing such a title and owns a trademark on the name Hwa Rang Do®. Only instructors authorized by the World Hwa Rang Do Association can legally use the name.
